Ramadan is a month that enhances a Muslims spiritual thinking, draws him closer towards Allah and also reminds one about their duties in the community. Apart from the rules of not drinking , eating or engaging in sex during Ramadan, there are a lot more rules involved to attain that state of true fasting and to elevate one to higher levels of spirituality. Here are some of the things you are not supposed to do while fasting.
Do not listen to music during this time as your heart should be filled with thoughts of Allah and Holy Quran, nothing else.
Do not waste your time. You are not supposed to spend time watching TV, sitting lazy or by engaging in a shopping spree. Also one is not supposed to engage in idle and loose talks. One cannot use words that hurts others during this time.
Avoid blood cupping, blood withdrawal and do not use inhalers and ear drops while you fast
Although the rules seem a little strict, following them to the last detail and observing it can be a rejuvenating experience.
