Where there is a will, there is a way, as proven by the determined middle school children from Uttarakhand’s Haridwar. The very enterprising children were forced to study on road after the building was demolished.
The private building where the school was running had been demolished by the owner during the Diwali holidays.
The teachers said that the school building was locked after the demolition. The students said that what had happened is wrong and they want to study in the school and not on the road.
The teachers told that they were not informed about the demolition nor they were asked to look for an alternative.
