Dubai police have a mission that s available on their Facebook page- To strengthen the feeling of security, and protection of rights, and to provide service that will win people satisfaction.
The Dubai police have been upholding their motto through these instances.
When the police receive a call from an Asian man living in the States concerning his missing father, the officials are quick to reassure him and went in search of the father.
The father had been terminated from his job, but had not gone back to his home and had been living with his friend, along with the fact that his phone did not work and did not wish to speak with anyone.
The Riffa police officers brought the father to the station, placed a call to his anxious son and even went beyond their duty to fix the father’s phone. The son thanked the police for their efforts.
A separate incident that took place was that an elderly man who lost his seeked the help of the Dubai police.
The elderly man had stepped out to take a breath of fresh air when he had lost his way back to his son’s building. The man went to the Riffa police who promptly called the son, who was a lawyer, was asked to come pick his father up.
“It was emotional moment when the son came and saw his father and then they happily went home together,” said Brigadier Bin Glaitha, the director of Riffa police station.
Recently the Dubai police force help elevate a child fear of the police by visiting her, giving her a ride in the police supercar and sending her off with gifts.
The police force closely cooperates with Civil Defense and Ambulance personnel.
