Clueses about Ram Mandir; Modi and Amit shah lying.

Firebrand Patidar leader Hardik Patel reiterated his tirade against  Narendra Modi and BJP chief Amit Shah.

The Patidar activist said that both PM Modi and Amit Shah were spreading lies to garner momentum in their poll campaign. Talking about Ram Mandir issue, Patel said that the BJP itself was clueless about the construction of the much-debated temple.

He further added that people came to his rallies to listen to the truth.

Further lending his support to Rahul Gandhi’s claim of ‘Vikas Gando Thayo che’, Hardik said that development in Gujarat has gone for a toss.

Patel also added that the people of Gujarat were well aware of the issues. Hardik said that people of Gujarat will decide the fate of his campaign.

Patel, who is known to sleep only four hours a day, attributed his vigour to the Gujarati cuisine. When asked about his future in politics, Patel said that he has faith in the decision of the people.

A confident Patel also said that people had already supported him in the first phase Gujarat polls on December 9.

When asked about his soaring popularity among the masses, Patel said that the people long to hear the truth.

“People flock in thousands to my rallies because I speak the bitter truth. They feel that there is someone who calls a spade a spade. People feel that I talk about their own issues and that’s why they come,” said Patel.

He added that about 10,000 to 12,000 people come to listen and see, but when they are over 50,000 that is an indication of mass resentment.

“The farmers are troubled with debts, youth grappling with unemployment. We have just given voice to these grassroots problems. They are also aware that Hardik will not solve everything. They take comfort in the fact that their problems now have strong voice which the government cannot ignore,” said Patel.

Talking about other political figures that influenced him, Hardik said that Shiv Sena’s Bal Thackeray is his idol.

When asked about general opinion that Hardik is involved in a populist dialogue by referring to Amit Shah as goonda, a rendition akin to Shiv Sena leader Bal Thackeray, Hardik said that he idolised Thackeray.

“I oppose Modi and Shah because they are blatantly lying. Shah accused Jignesh Mewani of seeking donations from Pakistan-based terror groups. How can you accuse a Dalit boy of such things?” asked Patel.

“PM Modi speaks about meeting between Pakistan officials and former prime minister. They know about the meeting, but do not know about the status of Ram Mandir,” said Patel.
