Yogi Adityanath reveals what Gujarat voters taught Rahul Gandhi

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Adityanath today credited the people of Gujarat for “teaching Congress president-elect Rahul Gandhi the importance of visiting temples”.

He also said they made senior Congress leader and former UPA PM Manmohan Singh “open his mouth”.

“Gujarat populace did two very good things this election. One, they made former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh open his mouth and second, they taught Rahul Gandhi the art of visiting temples,” said Adityanath, while on a visit to an ashram in Gujarat, as part of campaigning for the BJP.

Adityanath was referring to Rahul’s temple-visiting spree as part of campaigning for the Gujarat Assembly elections. And the UP CM’s comments about Singh came a day after the former PM slammed current PM Narendra Modi was accusing – without furnishing proof – the Congress of colluding with Pakistan.

Singh yesterday gave PM Modi a stern talking to Modi in a statement for spreading “falsehoods and canards” to “score political points in a lost cause.” Singh was referring to the Gujarat elections as a lost cause for the BJP.
