Actress Shraddha Sreenath about Malayalam actor Nivin Pauly

Shraddha Srinath is an Indian film actress who predominantly appears in Kannada,  Tamil  and Malayalam films. She gained wide acclaim for her role in the Kannada  psychological thriller U Turn for which she had won the Filmfare Award for Best Actress and her strong portrayal of female character in Urvi.

Shraddha Srinath, who recently starred in the neo-noir crime thriller Richie opposite Nivin Pauly, says that acting with the Malayalam star was a great experience. “I am a fan of Nivin’s acting and it was a surreal experience transforming from a fan to a co-actor. I was quite speechless when I was standing next him during the shoot.”

When quizzed the U-Turn actor whom she enjoyed working with more- Madhavan in Vikram Vedha or Nivin Richie, here’s what she said: “I think I need to work with Nivin in another film to answer that question. I hardly had a scene with Nivin and we just shot for three hours together. On the other hand, Maddy and I had many scenes and we even had a romantic track. I definitely enjoyed working with Madhavan.”

Shraddha, who made her debut with the Kannada film U-Turn, think that the lines between the industries are blurring? “Of course, I don’t think there are many barriers today. Though actresses have experimented with different industries at the same time, I can’t say the same for actors as they have established themselves in one industry. They have a huge fan following, too. But, people are definitely warming up to actors from other industries.”
