Attack on BJP leaders; case filed against ruling party MLA’s

Delhi Police have booked four AAP MLA’s, Jarnail Singh, Akhilesh Tripathi, Jitender Tomar and Sanjeev Jha for allegedly attacking leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly
Vijender Gupta, two city mayors and others. According to the complaint, the incident took place at the residence of Delhi Chief minister Aravind Kejriwal.

Police said that case was registered based on a complaint by Delhi BJP general-secretary Ravinder Gupta at the Civil Lines Police Station.

It was on January 30 that Manoj Tiwari and some other BJP members met Aravind Kejriwal at his residence to discuss the matter regarding relief to traders hit by a sealing drive against illegal commercial establishments.

The complaint also says that women leaders of BJP were also attacked by AAP MLA’s and therefore they demanded immediate action against the accused.
