Police rescued this actress who was forced into sex racket
A television actress, who was being pushed into the flesh trade, was rescued by the police in Malad,Mumbai on Monday. A pimp and a customer were arrested.
The police had got a tip-off on the basis of which they made the arrests from Goregaon Link Road on Monday. Senior officials said that the customer had been contacted through Whatsapp.
The arrested duo has been identified as Asif Dhorajiwala and Jay Rathore. Dhorajiwala has a film production company in Malad. The police will probe if there is any link between the offence and Dhorajiwala’s company.
A magistrate’s court sent the accused to two days in police custody.
