The BJP leader also made fun of some of the claims made against the BJP such as the party used money to win the elections and so on. According to Surendran, the communist party members claim that BJP made an alliance with smaller parties and fielded Central ministers to campaign in order to win the elections. The state leader said that he has nothing but pity towards the people who make these baseless allegations.

Surendran also took a jibe at the CPI(M)’s earlier claim that BJP will not win in states where the communist party rules. The leader, who believes that the Tripura election results will mainly affect Kerala, also said that the upcoming election will be a one-on-one battle between the BJP and CPI(M).
