Vijayakumari, a lottery seller in Kasargode was approached by a man who claimed to have won 500 Rs. The number and the ticket felt like a spot on match and there was not an iota of doubt in the mind of Vijayakumari. She realized she was being cheated when she took the ticket to the wholesale dealer. Even the paper in which the fake tickets were printed was exactly like the original one. Even the seal of major agencies was copied quite convincingly.

Another man,  Sudarshan who sells lottery near railway station had a similar experience. Gangs like these usually eye for amount smaller than 5000 because the money is transferred by the agent themselves.
