Telugu Desam Party MPs today demanded special category status for Andhra Pradesh.
Holding placards in support of their demand in front of Gandhi Statue in Parliament complex, they also demanded financial assistance for backward districts of the state and a railway zone at Visakhapatnam.
The MPs said the Centre should take immediate steps in this direction.
