Rishi Kumar Shukla appointed as new CBI director

1983 batch IPS officer of Madhya Pradesh Cadre Rishi Kumar Shukla has been appointed as the new Director of Central Bureau of Investigation, CBI. He will serve in the post for a period of two years.

The High-Level Committee chaired by Prime Minister approved the appointment of  Shukla to the post.

Rishi Kumar Shukla has served as the DGP of Madhya Pradesh.
