Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who is equally popular in both East and the West, crossed 40 million followers on Instagram.
With this, the actress became the first Indian celebrity to reach the 40 million mark on the popular photo and video-sharing social networking service Instagram, owned by Facebook.
Priyanka recorded a video message for her fans and followers to express gratitude towards them.
Thanking her fans, Priyanka said: “Oh My God! 40 million. It’s amazing. I still remember the day when I joined Instagram. One by one, all of you have been part of such an amazing journey for me.”
Priyanka also shared a short video on her Instagram handle.
