KTM launches the 2018 Duke 390 in white in India

KTM has launched the 2018 KTM Duke 390 in India. The 390-cc motorcycle is now available in white in India. Earlier, only the orange variant was available in India. The company has also solved some problems encountered by users of the previous version of the bike. The 2018 Duke 390 is available in all the showrooms in India. The price of the motorcycle remains the same as the previous model at Rs 2.29 lakh (Ex-showroom) Delhi.

According to a report, the 2018 KTM Duke 390 includes a software update to its digital infotainment screen. The issue of the headlight automatically turning off reported by users has been resolved through the software update to the infotainment screen. To counter the heat emission problem (too much heat on the legs of the riders from the engine), the company has included a heat deflector plate fixed on the trellis frame of the bike. The plate will deflect the heat from rider’s legs, making it more comfortable as compared to the earlier version.

The engine of the Duke 390 remains the same as compared to the 2017 version of the bike. The motorcycle is powered by a 373.2 cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 42.9 bhp of power and 37 Nm torque. It comes with a 320 mm front and 230 mm rear disk brakes equipped with anti-lock braking system (ABS).

Other features of the bike include upside-down fork, slipper-clutch, 13.4-litre fuel tank and an LED headlight. The Duke 390 was awarded the best bike of the year in 2017
