Ramakalamedu, Kerala -A Hill station You Should Visit

Ramakkalmedu is a hill station and a hamlet in Idukki district in the Indian state of Kerala. It is located about 15 km from Nedumkandom on the Munnar-Thekkady route. It provides a panoramic view of Tamil Nadu villages and towns. It is the proposed site for power generation using winds.

Cool, green hills and the fresh mountain air make Ramakkalmedu an enchanting retreat. The place gets its name from the impressions of the feet found on the rock surface here, which is believed to be of Rama, the incarnation of Lord Vishnu, as told in the Indian epic Ramayana.
