Twitteratis calls him ‘Rahul Gandhi of Cricket’ after he failed to score again

Stuart Binny has been getting regular chances to prove his mettle with Rajasthan Royals (RR) in this season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). But unfortunately, he has been failing to leave a mark both with the bat and ball. On May 15, while Ajinkya Rahane & Co took the field against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Eden Gardens, Binny was required to stay for long at the crease after the top-order suddenly collapsed followed by a fiery start. However, he once again lost his wicket without doing anything special.

Binny came in to bat at number 6 when his team was reduced to 95/3. During the 12th over, he failed to read googly from Kuldeep Yadav and could bat even after moving down the line. Karthik was fast enough to grab the ball and dislodge the bails. KKR scripted another success while Binny returned to the dressing room after scoring just 1 run off 4 balls.

RR started their innings by ruining the economy rates of the bowlers who came into the attack in the initial overs. In just 20 balls, they were had scored over 50 runs. But once the wickets started falling, their batting line-up fell like a house of cards.
