In the misty tourist destination of Kullu, a Japanese woman was allegedly raped by a taxi driver on Friday. A case had been registered by the police and the accused arrested based on the clues given by the woman.

Shalini Agnihotri, Superintendent of Police, Kullu, said that a case had been registered and one person was also arrested. She added that the victim had been sent for the medical test.
Further investigations on the case are underway.
The medical results of the woman are also awaited.
