Veteran actress Sridevi died of accidental drowning last year. It was her birth anniversary yesterday and on this occasion, her family members attended the special screening of Mr. India which was organised by Information and Broadcasting Ministry in Delhi. The pictures and videos from the event are doing the rounds on social media which will surely leave you teary-eyed. Boney Kapoor and his daughter Janhvi Kapoor got emotional and broke down into tears.
In the picture, firstly Boney can be seen consoling Janhvi and later he himself got emotional. Well, it goes without saying that the young actress misses her mother and it was indeed an emotional moment for her.

Sridevi died at the time when Janhvi was shooting for her debut film Dhadak. Thus, the veteran actress couldn’t see her daughter ruling the silver screen.
Boney produced Mr. India and during that time he fell in love with Sridevi.
Janhvi received a positive response for her debut film Dhadak, which was the Hindi remake of Sairat. She shared the screen space with Ishaan Khatter in the film. Dhadak did a wonderful collection at the box office and the team recently celebrated the success party.
