The Sensex and the Nifty today closed with gains of more than half a per cent amid mixed cues from global markets.
The Sensex at Bombay Stock Exchange gained 194 points to end at 36,636. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange also added 66 points to reclaimed 11,000-mark to settle at 11,053.
