A statue of Rabindranath Tagore was vandalised in West Bengali’s Bidhannagar on Saturday. Trinamool Congress councillor Nirmal Dutta said three men vandalised the statue, the police have arrested one of them, while other two managed to escape. “We don’t know why they did it,” he said.
