Prabhas hikes remuneration post Baahubali’s huge success

Baahubali 2 has made Prabhas the nation’s favourite star and the movie’s astounding  success has made him one of the most bankable actors. The recent buzz is that the star is now demanding a fee hike.

The epic battle movie has trumped Bollywood by becoming the country’s highest-grossing film to date. Baahubali 2 has made more than Rs 10 billion worldwide since hitting screens on April 28.

Prabhas, who was paid Rs 25 crore for Baahubali 2, is now demanding Rs 30 crore per film. He will soon start shooting for Saaho that will hit the screens in 2018.

Not many from Tollywood would be able to match Prabhas’ salary, but he is still nowhere close to the versatile actors of Bollywood.

Salman Khan is charging a whopping Rs 60 crore per film. Most of the time he produces his own films so his actual profit could be much higher.

Aamir Khan also charges around Rs 55-60 crore and Shah Rukh Khan demands Rs 40-45 crore for each film.

Akshay Kumar, the master of the Rs 100 crore club, goes for Rs 35-40 crore every film, but he releases 4-5 films in a year, so his actual profit could be way more than all the other actors.
