Former President Barack Obama’s tweet on the attack in Charlottesville, Virginia, is the most liked tweet ever on the social network.
Obama tweeted “Long Walk to Freedom”, “No one is born hating another person because of the colour of his skin or his background or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite.” It’s a quote from Nelson Mandela’s autobiography
The quote was split into three tweets, the first of which included a photo of him greeting a group of children through a window.
The tweet has been liked more than 2.7 million times, making it the most liked tweet of all time
