Veteran actress BV Radha, who has acted in over 250 films in Kannada, Tamil and Telugu films, succumbed to a heart attack on Sunday. She was 70 years old and had even fought cancer and survived it. Radha was married to late filmmaker-actor KSL Swamy.
Following the footsteps of her husband, Radha also had asked for her body to be donated to a medical college and her family paid heed to her wishes and announced that they would do the same as the biggest stars including MG Ramachandran, Sivaji Ganesan, NT Rama Rao, Gemini Ganesan, Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Jaishankar.
