SSLC examinations results were announced by minister C Raveendranath Friday afternoon. 95.98% pass out were reported this year. 1,174 schools achieved hundred percentage of results. The pass percentage for 2016 was at 96.59 per cent.

SSLC examination had faced controversy after allegations that the Mathematics question paper was leaked. The Mathematics exam held on March 20 was cancelled after similarities model question paper of a private institution.
