7 Easy recipes with Milkmaid

Say condensed milk and the first name that comes to your mind is Milkmaid. Milkmaid is an essential part of out cooking, especially when we are cooking sweets or desserts.

Here are some easy to make recipes with milkmaid.

1.Coconut Laddoo Recipe

These delectable white laddoos have the perfectly nutty aroma of roasted coconut.

Preparation Time:10 minutes    Cooking Time :15 minutes

Ingredients:
1 tin (400g)-NESTLÉ MILKMAID Sweetened Condensed Milk
350 gm (5 cups)-Fresh Coconut Grated

Method:
Keep aside 1 cup of grated coconut, put NESTLÉ MILKMAID Sweetened Condensed Milk and remaining grated coconut into a thick bottomed kadai and mix well. Heat the mixture, stirring constantly, so that it does not stick to the bottom of the pan.
Once heated, cook on a slow fire till the mixture starts leaving the sides of the kadai (approx 5 minutes), remove from fire and let it cool.
Cool and roll into laddoos with oiled hands. Roll in the reserved grated coconut.

 

2.Channar Puli

This melt-in-the-mouth dish has been since long the most loved north Indian dessert.

Preparation time: 10minutes     Cooking time: 25 minutes

Ingredients:
3/4 cup (100 g)-NESTLÉ MILKMAID Sweetened Condensed Milk
125 g-Paneer
6-7 tbsp-Maida (Flour)
1/4 tsp-Baking Powder
1-1/2 cups-Sugar (For Syrup)
2 cups-Water (For Syrup)
1 tbsp-MILKMAID Pure Ghee

Method:
Knead NESTLÉ MILKMAID Sweetened Condensed Milk, paneer, maida and baking powder with ghee to a smooth dough. Make sugar syrup with sugar and water.
Heat ghee in a kadai. Roll out paneer mixture into elongated shapes and deep fry on medium heat till golden brown.
Soak in syrup and serve hot.

 

3.Chocolate Bread Pudding

Lip smacking, delightful, delectable, mouth-watering; words cannot express this sweet treat made with fried bread and topped with luscious chocolate syrup.

Preperation Time: 15 minutes     Cooking Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:
1 cup (200g)-NESTLÉ MILKMAID Sweetened Condensed Milk
2 cups (300ml)-Milk
1 tbsp-Butter
2 tbsp-Cocoa Powder
2-Eggs
1 tsp-Vanilla Essence
4-Bread Slices
3 tbsp-Walnut Chopped

Method:
Heat butter in a pan and mix in the cocoa powder, cook over low flame for a minute. Add the NESTLÉ MILKMAID Sweetened Condensed Milk and milk, mix well and cook over medium flame till thick. Keep aside to cool.
Whisk the eggs and pour into above mixture beat whisk well. Add the vanilla essence and whisk again. Trim the bread and cut each slice into 4 triangles, arrange them in a greased glass dish. Sprinkle the walnuts over them.
Pour the chocolate milk mixture over the bread and allow to soak pressing the bread pieces without breaking them. Bake in a preheated oven at 180º C for 15 minutes. Serve hot or cold.

 

4.Coffee Cups

Whether children or adults, everyone loves to indulge in this rich volcano of bittersweet coffee goodness.

Preperation Time: 10 minutes Cooking Time: 30 minutes Chilling time:45 minutes

Ingredients:
1/4 cup-Water For Sauce
3 tbsp-Cocoa Powder For Sauce
2 tbsp-Butter For Sauce
1/4 cup-Milk For Sauce
1/4 tin (100g)-NESTLÉ MILKMAID Sweetened Condensed Milk For Sauce
2 cups-Water
1 tbsp-Coffee Powder
3/4 tin-NESTLÉ MILKMAID Sweetened Condensed Milk

Method:
Mix together 3/4 tin NESTLÉ MILKMAID Sweetened Condensed Milk, coffee powder, water and suji. Bring to a boil, stirring continuously. Still stirring, cook for a few more minutes on medium flame till mixture thickens. Pour into greased moulds. Leave to cool till set.
Combine milk, water and cocoa, and stir to a paste. Add remaining NESTLÉ MILKMAID Sweetened Condensed Milk & butter. Heat over medium flame till thick & it coats the back of a spoon.
Serve hot or cold, poured over unmoulded coffee cups.

 

5.Jelly Pudding

One of the wonderful things about making jelly is how you can make such an interesting looking dessert with no effort at all.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes    Cooking Time: 5 minutes    Chilling Time:180 minutes

Ingredients:
200ml-Fresh Cream (chilled)
1 packet-Jelly Crystals
1/2 tin (200g)-NESTLÉ MILKMAID Sweetened Condensed Milk

Method:
Prepare jelly as per pack instructions. Keep in freezer till the jelly begins to set at the sides.
Whip the chilled cream till it is light and keep aside.
Fold in NESTLÉ MILKMAID Sweetened Condensed Milk and whipped cream into the semi set jelly pour the mixture into a wet dish. Allow to set in the refrigerator. Serve chilled.

 

6.Mango Kulfi

Kulfi and summers go together like bread and butter. Add mangoes to the mix and you have a recipe for pure bliss.

Preparation Time :15 Minutes     Chilling Time: 360minutes    Cooking Time:10minutes

Ingredients:
500 gm-Mango pureed
1 litre-Milk
1 tbsp-Corn Flour dissolved in 2 tbsp milk
1/2 tin (200 gm)-NESTLÉ MILKMAID Sweetened Condensed Milk

Method:
Mix the NESTLÉ MILKMAID Sweetened Condensed Milk and milk together in a pan. Bring to boil stirring continuously, reduce the flame and cook for 10-15 minutes stirring from time to time.
Add the cornflour paste and continue to cook for 3-4 minutes till the mixture is thick. Remove from fire and cool.
When cool add the puréed mango, mix well and pour into kulfi moulds and freeze for 3-4 hours till set. Remove from moulds, cut into 2 pieces and serve.

 

7.Chocolate Souffle

Preparation Time: 20 minutes   Cooking Time: 10 minutes   Chilling Time: 60 minutes

Ingredients:
1 tin (400g)-NESTLÉ MILKMAID Sweetened Condensed Milk
50g-Milk Chocolate
2 cups (300ml)-Milk
2-1/2 tbsp-Gelatine
1/2 cup (75 ml)-Water
1+1/3 cup-Fresh Cream
4 tbsp-Cocoa Powder
50g-Walnut chopped

Method:
Prepare a few milk chocolate curls for decorating. Keep cool. Break the rest of chocolate into bits. Whip the cream over ice till light and fluffy (soft peak stage) and keep chilled.
Add cocoa to the milk and heat over a pan of hot water and make a smooth paste. Dissolve gelatine in ½ cup water over a pan of hot water. Add cocoa paste, and NESTLÉ MILKMAID Sweetened Condensed Milk to the dissolved gelatine. Mix well.
Fold in the chilled whipped cream (save 2 tbsp. cream for decoration), add the walnuts and chocolate to the NESTLÉ MILKMAID Sweetened Condensed Milk mixture and mix well. Pour the mixture into a wet soufflé dish and chill. Serve decorated with whipped cream and chocolate curls.
