This 17 year tops in CBSE exam from the entire country

17-year-old Dubai student Meghna Savit secured the UAE’s highest results in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) exams. The Indian High School (IHS) Dubai student achieved a record-breaking score among the girls in her school.

Securing 98.4 per cent in the Science stream, she has now set a new record among IHS girls by crossing over the 98 per cent mark.

Two female students earlier had scored 98 per cent in the Science stream, but Savit has topped that record.

“My father actually broke the news to me at about 10 am morning. I was taking a shower but when he told me the score, I thought he was kidding.” She said.

“I plan on going to India to get admission to the National Institutes of Technology (NITs) or the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs),” she added. Her long-term dream is to become the founder of her own start-up.
