India’s External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has close to nine million followers on Twitter. Most of the times, she manages to respond to large number of emergency tweets on the micro-blogging site. Swaraj typically replies in minutes to several issues including passport issues, visa hassles, humanitarian concerns and missing fellow Indians.

But few requests are from strangers and comical at times. A tweet currently going viral has a man, fed up while watching the Shah Rukh Khan-Anushka Sharma starrer Jab Harry Met Sejal, asking to be rescued from a movie theater in Pune.
“I’m watching JabHarryMetSejal at Xion cinema Hinjewadi, Pune. Please rescue me as soon as possible..” reads Vishal Surywanshi’s tweet, tagging the minister.
Surywanshi’s tweet has been re-tweeted over 1,500 times in last three days. While Swaraj is yet to reply to this hilarious request, the twitteratis are laughing out loud. This is not the first time that Swaraj is getting such strange and hilarious requests.
Last year, someone had requested to repair his car and another person to rescue his refrigerator.
This year, in June, a person cheekily asked to be rescued from Mars.And Swaraj’s witty reply went viral and was quite a comic relief. She had replied, “Even if you are stuck on the Mars, Indian Embassy there will help you.” Now that’s called some celestial diplomacy.
