The ever loved and beloved Nutella has made its fans angry with its change in recipe.
A German consumer group first noticed the change, revealing on their Facebook page that Nutella now contains 8.7 per cent powdered skimmed milk, compared to 7.5 per cent before.
According to the Hamburg Consumer Protection Center, there has been an increase in the amount of sugar.
This worries the consumers that the increase will lead to the rise in the price of the famous chocolate hazelnut spread.
The fans have flooded the social media with a torrents of posts and comments at the change in the recipe. Bollywood actress Esha Gupta too laments on the change in the recipe.

The recipe change was confirmed, on Wednesday, by Nutella USA in tweets trying to sooth the annoyed fans.
“Our recipe underwent a fine-tuning and continues to deliver the Nutella fans know and love with high quality ingredients,” the company said in a tweet.
