Amala About Paying Tax In Kerala For Her Vehicle…
In a new development in tax evasion case of Actress Amala Paul.
In the reply to Motor Vehicle Department,Amala Paul said that she does not intend to pay taxes in Kerala as she travels across different states in connection with the film industry.
In the reply she added,she has no plans to pay road tax for the vehicle in Kerala.
Earlier, in a Facebook post, Amala had justified her decision. She had said that as an Indian citizen, she has every right to work and own assets throughout the nation freely.
Meanwhile, terming the reply unsatisfactory, the MVD officials said they would proceed with action.
Amala Paul was registered her vehicle in the name of an engineering student in Puducherry. Because of this Kerala MVD has lost Rs 20 lakh in taxes.
