It was a shocking news that former Bihar chief minister was sentenced to 3.5 year in jail and 10 lakh rupees fine by CBI court.Hours after former Bihar chief minister Lalu Prasad was sentenced to 3.5 years in jail in a fodder scam case, BJP National spokesperson Sambit Patra attacked the opposition by penning down a poem on Twitter. Along with Lalu, the rhyme attacks Congress President Rahul Gandhi, Ex-party president Sonia Gandhi, Former Chief Minister of Jharkhand Madhu Koda, who was sentenced to three years in jail for corruption in a Coal black allocation case. In his Tweet, Patra calls the opposition a “coalition of corrupt”. He also makes a direct reference to 2019 general elections by saying few are in Jail and few out on Bail, yet they say that they will fight in the upcoming general elections in 2019. The Tweet goes like: “??? ??? ???,??? ??? ???? ??? ????? ???? ??? ???, ?????? ????? ??? ???, ??? ?? ?? ??? ?? ??, ???????? ?? ??????, ?? ??????? 2019 ?? ?????? ??? ??????”
Earlier in the day, when RJD leader was sentenced to jail, his family had responded by calling it a ‘conspiracy’. Soon after the pronouncement of the punishment, Lalu took to Twitter to attack BJP. In his tweet, Lalu says that rather than following BJP, he is ready to fix himself for social justice, harmony and equality. His Tweet read, “Rather than practising BJP’s Simple Rule – “Follow us or We will Fix you”. I will die happily fixing myself for Social justice, harmony & equality.” RJD leader’s son Tej Pratap said that his father will soon get bail. He had further said that the feudal power could not break them.
“We are confident that he [Lalu Yadav] will get bail. We have full faith in the judiciary. We are not going to get terrified and will fight strongly against this.”Lalu’s younger son Tejashwi said that they have full faith in the judiciary and he hopes that his father will be soon among them. He further said that Lalu is a mass leader and that all people are with us. Making an indirect reference to the ruling party, Tejashwi said that this is a conspiracy to break RJD and that they will give a befitting reply at the right time.
