Guru Ram Rahim, the controversial Baba is not someone unknown to Indians. His popularity is so much that on the day of his arrest related to molesting and raping his female followers, his followers vandalized vehicles and created a fearsome atmosphere in Public.
Now it seems that the bad days are not moving away from him. The CBI has filed a fresh charge sheet on him and two doctors for forcibly castrating 400 of his followers. The man who is already serving a 20-year term in jail for rape, if this case is proved then it will be another setback for the Dera Sacha Sauda chief. Doctors Pankaj Garg and MP Singh have also been named in the charge sheet.
The charge sheet has been filed in a special court in Panchkula. The castration case had come to light when one of his followers, Hansraj Chauhan, filed a writ petition in Punjab and Haryana High Court in July 2012 alleging that he was castrated by the Dera chief.
CBI had in 2015 registered a case against him related to the castration matter.
