Often its a matter of millimeters and milliseconds and some mad rush at the final stage would help you literally overcome hurdles. Ask University track star and hurdler Infinite Tucker and he will tell you all about it. He clinched victory in the 400 m hurdles with a ‘superman dive’ over the finishing line in an athletic meeting in Arkansas.
Tucker and teammate Robert Grant were neck and neck as they approached the end of their championship race. But Tuckers last minute adventure helped him gain the decisive lead.
‘I saw my [mother] at the finish, and I jumped to give her a hug. And that’s all it is.’ said Tucker after his success. Watch the video here:
