The Mumbai Police’s crime branch investigating the Mahadev betting app case has issued summons to actor Sahil Khan and three others to provide their statements on Friday. A special investigation team (SIT) has been established to look into alleged illegal transactions between certain financial and real estate firms in the state and the promoters of the controversial Mahadev betting app. The estimated size of the scam is Rs 15,000 crore according to the FIR. The SIT is conducting an investigation into Khan and 31 other individuals, scrutinizing their bank accounts, mobile phones, laptops, and other technical equipment. Sahil Khan, along with his brother Sam Khan, Hitesh Khushlani, and another accused individual, have been summoned to appear before the SIT officials at the Mumbai crime branch. Sahil Khan, known for his roles in films like ‘Style’ and ‘Excuse Me’, has transitioned to becoming a fitness expert.
