Turned a deaf ear towards the pleas of Love Jihad victim’s parents then;Now the LDF government pounces upon Sathyasarini

A gruesome incident of the murder of an SFI activist finally made the LDF aware that the Sathyasarini in Mancheri was a hub of the Popular Front activists.BJP and the Sangh Parivar organizations have been exhorting for years to raid these type of institutions which purportedly worked for the ‘Love Jihad’ activities. Sathyasarini became a center of attraction with the  Akhila-Hadiya issue. Akhila was taken there without the knowledge of her parents by her Muslim friends and made to convert. Now with the LDF government landing in a deadlock due to the murder of their cadre Abhimanyu by the Campus Front activists, the students’ wing of Popular Front/ SDPI, the Kerala Police decided to raid the controversial religious centers  Sathyasarini and Green Valley in Manjeri simultaneously. Earlier the government did not act against the institutions even after getting complaints from the parents of Hindu girls who were subjected to alleged ‘Love Jihad’ activities.

Accounts of about 12 SDPI activists suspected to be part of Abhimanyu’s murder are considered to be frozen by the police. Last day, the police raided SDPI offices and also took into custody many of its activists. The Police also went to the houses of many SDPI activists. Today police arrested 2 SDPI workers in relation with Abhimanyu’s murder. Nawas from  Mattancherry and Jefri were the arrested ones.

Calls received by Abhimanyu before he had got murdered are also under the police surveillance now.

6 people went into exile from Nettoor in Ernakulam and the Police are on their way to nab them and the investigation is progressing with a thrust given on the finding of these exiled people. One person among those was also included in the case where a College professor named Thomas was chopped of his hand by the SDPI activists for allegedly hurting their religious sentiments. The Investigation Team is analyzing all the contemporary cases in which the SDPI/Popular Front are involved.

Even after confirming that 15 persons were involved in Abhimanyu murder, the Police have been able to arrest only 4 till  now.T he 2 persons arrested today were not directly involved in the murder and were also not part of the 15 member gang.

As per what is inferred till now, a black shirted person stabbed Abhimanyu which resulted in his death. The Police suspect him to be among the 6 exiled from Nettoor.

In the hand chop case from 31 people convicted, NIA court punished 13. The Police are now also garnering information about those who were present in the Court premises during the verdict of hand chop case. They are checking whether anybody from them helped the convicts in Abhimanyu murder case or helped them to get a hiding place. The investigations are progressing mainly in the places like Kodagu, Mysuru and Mangalapuram.

132 SDPI activists who marched to Aluva SP office have been remanded. They marched to the SP Office demanding to leave Scott free all the district leaders of SDPI who had been arrested in relation with Abhimanyu murder case. The arrested pesrons were booked under IPC 143, 147, 149, 283, 353 for assembling illegally, rioting, hindering the public way and disturbing the work of public officials. Early morning they were presented before the magistrate and remanded.
