Actor Kalidas Jayaram and model Tarini Kalingarayar celebrated their engagement on Friday, captivating social media with videos of the ceremony. Kalidas, adorned in a silk pink kurta and dhoti, shared the joyous moment with his parents, actors Jayaram and Parvathy, and sister Malavika.
The couple’s love story blossomed over time, with Kalidas introducing Tarini to his family during a shoot last Onam. On Valentine’s Day this year, he officially declared her as his girlfriend, marking the beginning of their public expressions of affection. Kalidas had previously hinted at their future together during an award function in Chennai.
Tarini, the 3rd runner-up for Miss Universe India 2021, boasts a successful career as a model, collaborating with various brands. Meanwhile, Kalidas, known for his debut in ‘Kochu Kochu Santhoshangal’ and a national-award-winning performance, transitioned to lead roles with ‘Poomaram’ in 2018, continuing to make his mark in South Indian cinema.
