Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’ surpasses Rs 700 Crore mark in global box office earnings

Ranbir Kapoor’s action-packed drama “Animal” has achieved a remarkable milestone by crossing the Rs 700 crore mark in global box office earnings within nine days, as announced by the producers on Monday. Helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, known for “Arjun Reddy” and “Kabir Singh,” the film had a multi-lingual release on December 1 in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. T-Series, the production house, shared the box office update for “Animal,” revealing that the movie grossed Rs 717.46 crore worldwide in just 10 days. The banner celebrated the film’s success, describing it as “Conquering Box Office with Thunderous Records.”

Apart from Ranbir Kapoor, the pan-India project features Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, Triptii Dimri, Suresh Oberoi, and Prem Chopra. “Animal” unfolds a narrative in a violent world against the backdrop of the tumultuous relationship between Ranbir’s character, Ranvijay Singh, and his father Balbir Singh, portrayed by Anil Kapoor. While the movie continues its successful run in theaters, some critics and viewers have criticized “Animal,” citing concerns of misogyny and graphic violence. The film is a collaborative production of Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar’s T-Series, Murad Khetani’s Cine1 Studios, and Pranay Reddy Vanga’s Bhadrakali Pictures.
