After making her Telugu debut with Shiva Manasulo Shruti, Regina Cassandra started acting in Telugu films one after the other.
However, in the last couple of years, the actress has moved her focus to Tamil projects.
This year, she starred in just one Telugu film, Nakshatram, which bombed at the box office. The only advantage of doing the film was that people realised she could also do glamour roles.
For her next Telugu venture, Regina is now paired opposite Nara Rohit in Balakrishnudu, directed by Pavan Mallela.
The film also features Ramya Krishna in a key role. The film’s trailer portrays Regina in a glamorous avatar and the actress is banking on this film for a much-needed break in Telugu.
