As the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne 2018 kickstarted last night with the commencement of the opening night film of this year, Love Sonia. Directed by Tabrez Noorani and a talented bunch of actors including Freida Pinto, Richa Chadha and film debutant Mrunal Thakur were present at the festival to host their official Australian premiere.
The director and three leading ladies of the film commenced the film opening to the audiences with a traditional lamp lighting ceremony followed by the screened. The screening ended on an emotional note leaving the audiences overwhelmed with emotions enclosing director Rajkumar Hirani and actor Vicky Kaushal who were all praises for the film after the screening.
