New Honda CB Hornet 160R Launched

Honda CB Hornet 160R has been launched in two new colors. In addition to the earlier colors including black/green and black/orange, the CB Hornet 160R is now available in two metallic dual-tone paint schemes – red/white and blue/white. The earlier mono-tone paint schemes have been discontinued and hence will not retail in the market.

Apart from introducing a new paint scheme, the bike has also received the (AHO) feature which is now a mandatory feature as per new rules and regulations from the Government of India. Talking about the power mill, it still derives its power from the same 162cc single-cylinder engine delivering 15bhp and 14.7Nm of torque.

The engine comes mated to a 5-speed transmission but the engine is now BSIV compliant. The bike still retains the optional rear disc and CBS safety feature.

The pricing on the new 2017 CB Hornet 160R is the Rs 82,095 (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the non-CBS version while Rs 86,595 (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the CBS version. It competes against Suzuki Gixxer 150 and  Yamaha FZ16 V2.0.
