Facebook is to test a new feature, a CV option where job hunters can list their skills and experience on the social platform. Facebook’s education and professional experiences of users is taken to new heights where they can edit and add entries, images and other relevant information to their CV.
Facebook’s CV structure is similar to that of LinkedIn site. “The new feature appears to combine all the relevant information into a single, professional-looking package” said a user.
Facebook has been trying to be abreast with other social media platforms and have been adding new features and apps imitating others for the past 2 years. Although it is been tested, it’s not clear how this new option is applicable to each and every Facebook user. There have also been negative comments on how some users did not want their professional life to be linked with their personal one.
