As a part of midnight patrolling, Police followed the youth who was driving a bike. They were traveling on a single bike as it was a criminal offense to ride a bike with three members, police followed them. The youth reported that they were preparing nativity set for the Christmas events. Even though the SI and gang claim them and followed.
One of the youth rushed into church area.The Police then forced to follow them and the Police gang gets locked up by churchgoers.The Priest tried to make the situation calm but failed people begin to respond and police got locked inside the committee office in church area.
At last, SI forced to ask to apologize. Incident happened in Village of Parassala, Thiruvananthapuram
