Internet and Social media have been widely used for abusing and spewing online venom and in the latest incident, Congress Spokesperson Priyanka Chaturvedi pointed out that a troll account with the picture of Lord Rama still made deplorable comments about her daughter. Priyanka has referred the matter to Mumbai Police.

It was a rape threat directed at her daughter by a troll handle Girishk1605 which was taken down after she filed a complaint. Priyanka shared the tweet on her timeline and pointed out that the profile donned the picture of Lord Rama and yet made abusive comments about her daughter. Mumbai Police has promised swift action on the matter.

Priyanka got support from Twitter users who condemned the act and expressed their anguish over increasing cyberbullying.
