Ramadan : Abu Dhabi Announced Paid parking hours

The Department of Transport has released times for paid parking and public transport in Ramadan.
Drivers can park for free around mosques during taraweeh prayers, and paid parking times will be split into two periods – from 9am to 2pm, and 9pm to 2.30am.

On Thursdays, the second period runs from 9pm until midnight. Parking will be free from 12.01am on Fridays until 8.59am on Saturdays.

Those attending taraweeh prayers are exempt, as long as they do not obstruct traffic.

Residents-only parking for permit holders operate between 9pm and 8am.

Bus services in Abu Dhabi city will be suspended from 6pm to 8pm. All bus services in Abu Dhabi will stop between 6pm and 8.30pm.

But bus number A1 , from Al Zahiyah to Abu Dhabi International Airport, will continue to operate round the clock.

There will be no bus service in Al Ain and its suburbs from 6pm to 8pm, except for bus number X90. In Al Dhafra, services will be halted from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.

Ferry services from Delma Island are scheduled twice a day at 6am and 1pm, and at 9am and 4pm from Mugharaq, except for Friday.

On Fridays, ferries from Delma will run at 7am and 1.30pm, and 10am and 4pm from Mugharaq.

The Department of Transport’s main branch at Al Maqta will be open between 9am and 3pm, from Sunday to Thursday.
