BJP leader Vijay Jolly robbed by bikers while having golgappas on Delhi streets !

In a shocking incident, Delhi-BJP’s Former General Secretary and Vice President Vijay Jolly was robbed on the streets of the national capital yesterday while having golgappas with one of his friends.

The robbers took away his laptop, digital camera and other important documents. Jolly claimed that he tried to chase the robbers who came in a motorcycle but due to heavy traffic on the road, he couldn’t nab them.

As per sources, Jolly and his friend were on the way to Janakpuri from his office in Sangam Vihar on yesterday evening when this incident happened.

He said, “As I passed by Lado Sarai, I noticed a well-known street food stall and we thought to stop and have some golgappe.”

Moments after the incident, a couple standing nearby drew their attention towards the car. He added, “The right window at the back was smashed and my laptop, digital camera, flight tickets to Cambodia and some official documents were robbed.”

When he later enquired about the robbers, he came to know that they were two young men who came on a bike that didn’t have a registered number plate. Jolly then filed a complaint at the Saket police station, however, the robbers are yet to be identified.

Jolly condemned the act and said, “I am very shocked. If an ex-MLA could be robbed like this, imagine the condition of the common people.”

“Motorcycle-bourne gangs are spreading terror in the South Delhi region. The police should take strict actions against all these activities to ensure safety in the city,” he added.
