Army foils infiltration bid in J-K’s Nowgam, soldier and 2 militants dead !

A soldier was killed as the army foiled an infiltration bid today along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Nowgam sector, a spokesperson said.

Two militants were also killed during the infiltration bid, the spokesperson said, adding that operations are on in the area.

Yesterday, three militants were gunned down in Machhil sector near the LoC in North Kashmir. Three weapons were recovered from them.
