The dawn-to-dusk hartal called by BJP in Thiruvananthapuram district began on Thursday after their office was attacked allegedly by CPM workers.
The BJP office in the state capital was attacked hours after some people tried to manhandle CPM general secretary Sitaram Yechury at AKG Bhavan in Delhi on Wednesday.
KSRTC services from different depots have been stopped. Services from Parasala, Neyyatikara, Poovar, Vellarada depots has been announced to stop bus services.
