Senior Journalist arrested for rape in Trivandrum. Amal Vishnudas, the senior news editor of Mathrubhumi news channel, was arrested by the police for allegedly molesting her with a promise of marriage. The petitioner who is also a journalist has filed a complaint to the Thiruvananthapuram city police commissioner.
The incident started in December 2015. According to the complaint, Amal Vishnudas was admitted to the hospital as the petitioner frequently visited him and this led to starting a relationship between two. According to the complaint, Amal has received money from her father and threatened to knock petitioner out of the job if reported.
