The visual media journalists will be included under the Working Journalist Act, says Information and Broadcasting Minister Smriti Irani. The decision was put forward by the discussion of central ministry along with Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. When deciding on bringing Visual media journalists under the act, the case of the online journalists should be discussed between the state affairs, Smriti Irani added.
