McDonald’s Boom Box: Party music from your drinking tray?

Innovation being an important part of a business is required for the survival of the business in a long run when the competition is high.

But the success of the idea depends on the trends, timing and the taste of people.

Even the established brands have to come up with certain out of the box ideas so as to be in sync with the trend, to retain its customers.

McDonald’s, a world wide renowned food chain that serves fast food, and which have brought a new trend in the way people sees and have fast food, are also now coming up with innovation to capture more customers.

This very idea is so simple and intelligent that, it is some that can never be undone.

McDonald’s Canada in collaboration with fabrication studio Stacklab and the University of Waterloo has come up with recyclable drinks trays into boom boxes.

These boom boxes are based on “very simple amplification concepts.”

In order to turn your drink tray upside down, all you have to do is to make a couple of soi-disant speakers out of two flaps at the bottom and place your phone in the middle.

Many may find this idea rather strange, but imagine many could put this to use, for those wanting to have a house party could pull it off without having being spent on loudspeakers and stereo, or for those who want some loud music during an outing can make use of this.

This marketing gimmick by Mc Donald’s was given to the customers at the Woodbine Beach branch of McDonald’s in Toronto were given these things in a McFlurry of celebration on Saturday, according to the reports by the Everyday Foodie.

This very innovation can be dubbed as a venture, that could open t a much newer platform of ideas for promotion.
