Samsung launches ‘Galaxy C8’ with dual cameras

Samsung has announced new model dual camera phone Samsung Galaxy C8. Ahead of the launch, The Galaxy C8 was subjected to several leaks and rumours, which suggested that the phone would come with two cameras at the rear.

For now the smartphone has been launched in China and for now Samsung has revealed only the specifications of the device. No price and availability details are officially announced but we know that once Samsung has listed some phone on its website, the availability is within weeks.

In India, it is expected that Samsung will launch the Galaxy C8 in a month or two.Also it is likely to come with a price tag of little over Rs 20,000 in India. This phone will replace the C7 and the C7 Pro in Samsung’s Galaxy phone range in India and those two phones sell for little blow Rs 25,000 here. 

The Galaxy C8 comes with dual-camera setup on the rear. Samsung has been late to the dual-camera game.

The Samsung Galaxy C8 comes with dual camera setup. The primary camera comes with a 13-megapixel sensor which is paired with an f/1.7 aperture lens. The secondary camera uses a 5-megapixel sensor along with an f/1.9 aperture lens. On the front, the new Samsung Galaxy C8 comes with a 16-megapixel sensor which is further paired with an f/1.9 aperture.

The dual-camera system of the Galaxy C8 comes with Dual Photo mode. In other words, similar to what is there inside the Galaxy Note 8, this camera mode lets users adjust the focus of the picture even after capturing the image.

Apart from the dual cameras, another key highlight of the Galaxy C8 is its facial recognition feature. The facial recognition technology allows users to unlock the phone with their face. The smartphone has been announced in two variants.

The base variant comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, while the higher-end variant of the phone has 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The storage space of both the models of the Samsung Galaxy C8 can be expanded to up to 256GB via a microSD card.
